May 12, 2000 Dear Innovative Law Library User: This is the final mailing of the Innovative Law Users Group (ILUG) for 1999/00. According to our records, you are the designated ILUG contact person for your library. Please feel free to make copies of any enclosed documents to share with staff members at your library. The ILUG annual meeting will be held on Saturday July 15, 2000 from 8:30-4:15 at the Philadelphia Marriott. By popular demand we will follow the meeting format debuted at last year's meeting. The preliminary program is included for your information. When speakers and discussion groups are firmed up, I will post the final program on innopaclaw. There is no charge for attending the all-day meeting, but it is crucial that you return the registration form indicating that you plan to attend and indicate your discussion group preference. Please duplicate the registration form for each individual attending from your institution. An optional lunch be held this year on site at the Marriott, but registration and pre-payment are required. It is always a difficult choice between the convenience of lunching on site and the high cost of hotel meals. However, ILUG subsidizes the meal for members which keeps the charge a little more reasonable and you can choose to lunch on your own if you prefer. Our Vice-Chair, Richard Amelung, has arranged for an excellent slate of candidates for Vice-Chair/Chair Elect -- Thomas Baker, Columbia and Virginia Bryant, George Washington University.
