Dear Innovative Law Library User:

This is the first of two mailings for the 2004/2005 ILUG term. Enclosed you will find:

• A Membership application for 2005;
• A Nomination form for Chair Elect and Treasurer to take office in July;
• Information about the mentoring program;
• The 2005 Member survey; and
• Minutes of the 2004 Annual Meeting.

A second mailing in the Spring will include election ballots and a treasurer's report, along with information about the upcoming Annual Meeting/Workshop in San Antonio.

Please return the Member surveys to me by March 1, 2005. The deadline for nominations for Vice-Chair and Treasurer is March 30, 2005, and can be sent to Chair-Elect Joseph P. Hinger by email (preferred) or by mailing the enclosed form.

Although each library designates a single contact, participation in ILUG events and activities is open to all interested staff. Please encourage your colleagues to complete copies of the Member survey, volunteer for the mentoring program, join the listserv, present a program or hold ILUG office. More information about these activities can be obtained from the website, or by contacting the Officers.

I hope to see many of you at IUG in San Francisco and at our Annual Meeting in July, 2005. In the meantime, please let me know your questions or concerns.
