Dear Innovative Law Library User:

This is the first of the two regular mailings for the 2005/2006 ILUG term. Enclosed you will find:

• A Membership application for 2006
• A Nomination form for Vice-Chair/Chair Elect to take office in July (Phyllis Post is our Treasurer to July, 2007)
• Information about the mentoring program, and
• The 2006 Member survey

A second mailing in the Spring will include election ballots and information about the upcoming Annual Meeting / Workshop in Saint Louis.

Please return the Member surveys to me by March 1, 2006. The deadline for nominations for Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect is March 30, 2006. Please send nominations to Tom Baker (Chair) by email or by mailing the enclosed form.

Although each library designates a single contact, participation in ILUG events and activities is open to all interested staff. Please encourage your colleagues to complete copies of the Member survey, volunteer for the mentoring program, join the listserv, present a program or hold ILUG office. More information about these activities can be obtained from the website, or by contacting me, or any Officer.

I hope to see many of you at IUG in Denver and at our Annual Meeting in July, 2006. Minutes of the 2005 Annual Meeting are available on the ILUG website.
