May 12, 1999
Dear Innovative Law Library User:
This is the last mailing of the Innovative Law Users Group (ILUG) for 1998/99. It contains information about our upcoming Saturday Workshop in Washington, D.C. plus the ballot for election of 1999-2000 officers.
CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE
Enclosed is biographical information and a statement from each of the candidates for Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect and for Treasurer. Please take time to read the information, mark your ballot, and return it to me by June 4, 1999. Each institution has one vote. Thanks to Mary Jane Kelsey, Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect, for her work on the slate of candidates.
If your institution has not paid its dues for 1999, then no ballot is included.
WORKSHOP/MEETING IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
We are excited about the program planned for July 17, 1999, and we hope to see many of you there. While the workshop is free, we ask that you register. This will help us with our planning for the event. Lunch is open to everyone this year. We will walk about five minutes to an Oriental restaurant where our meal will be served family style. Please read over the enclosed preliminary program, fill out and return the registration form, and join us for our Annual Meeting/Workshop.
As in past years, Innovative will make presentations during AALL program times. They plan programs on Millennium Serials, Release 2000, Advanced Searching, and possibly one other topic.
I look forward to seeing many of you in July.
Sincerely,
Susan D. Goldner, ILUG Chair
