The ILUG is seeking nominations for the office of Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect for the 2003/2004 term, and for the office of Treasurer for the 2003-2005 biennium. Nominees will be contacted and be invited to stand for election. Ballots will be distributed in the Spring ILUG mailing. Election results will be announced in June and at the annual meeting in July.
The Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect aids in preparing the Group's annual meeting at AALL, records and distributes minutes from the ILUG annual meeting, assists the Chair as needed, and assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Chair for the 2004/2005 term. Upon becoming the Chair, the successful nominee organizes and attends the ILUG Luncheon at the IUG Annual Meeting and the ILUG Annual Meeting at AALL.
The Treasurer makes deposits, pays invoices, completes necessary tax returns, and performs other related duties. The Treasurer prepares a report to the membership for the ILUG Annual Meeting, and responds to requests for information from the Chair and Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect.
