The ILUG is seeking nominations for the office of Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect for the 2006/2007 term. Nominees will be contacted and invited to stand for election. Ballots will be distributed in the Spring ILUG mailing. Election results will be announced in June and at the annual meeting in July.

The Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect aids in preparing the Group's annual meeting at AALL, records and distributes minutes from the ILUG annual meeting, assists the Chair as needed, and assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Chair for the 2007/2008 term. Upon becoming the Chair, the successful nominee organizes and attends the ILUG Luncheon at the IUG Annual Meeting and the ILUG Annual Meeting at AALL.

Please share this request for nominations with others in your library who may be interested in the position, or know someone else who may be interested. The nominee does not have to be the library's designated ILUG contact in order to run for office. This is your chance to serve. Self-nominations are encouraged.
