Statement
My long experience as a library staff member has given me a good sense of how important it is to maintain a good group spirit and to get the details of the work flow right; also how helpful (or the reverse) the library’s system can be in these matters. I was a student worker with the Law Library when the III system was introduced in 1985, and I have seen the entire development of the III system in the Columbia Law Library, though only recently from a more complete perspective. I know that it is very important that the law libraries be a real presence in the IUG and with III, and would work hard with you to maintain that presence.

Statement
Having recently returned from the annual Innovative Users Group meeting, I once again was struck by how incredibly valuable these gatherings are in terms of sharing information with colleagues about our libraries use of Innovative products. The conference frequently provides us, an organized group of law librarians, excellent opportunities to lobby III management regarding our issues of concern. III has listened to ILUG members, and responded positively in the areas of maintenance costs, product development, and service issues. It would be an honor to be a part of the continuing dialog with III, as our libraries face new challenges with the Millennium products.
