Candidate for Vice Chair/Chair Elect:
Joseph P. Hinger

Employment:

Education: M.L.S., University of Pittsburgh; B.A., University of Pittsburgh

Professional Activities:

Statement:

Fifteen-plus years experience using Innovative products in law libraries has driven home to me the critical importance of our collaboratively sharing ideas and experiences. I was Serials Librarian when Innopac was chosen for the backbone of the OhioLINK project, and I worked with many librarians and committees to foster the consortium's development. I have since managed the implementation of the complete Innovative product package in two other law libraries, one that relied solely on Millennium based products. The annual Innovative Users Group and Innovative Law Users Group meetings have provided me with invaluable knowledge and experience that has enhanced the use of Innovative products in the libraries where I've worked. It would be a great honor to be able to work with you all, representing the law library presence with III, and in the IUG.

Candidate for Vice Chair/Chair Elect:
Patricia A. (Paddy) Satzer

Employment:

Education: M.A. in Library Science, University of Minnesota, 1985; B.A. in English, University of Minnesota, 1979.

Professional Activities:

Statement:

Law librarians have a history of strong participation and leadership in the IUG community. This tradition has served law libraries well. Our ILUG builds on those strengths by providing additional opportunities to network, train, and problem solve within the context of law librarianship. After previewing the new Millennium Statistics module in San Jose, I'm excited about using it in my law library. I'm particularly interested in creating programs that highlight how to put a law library spin on these new products to benefit ILUG members.

Candidate for Treasurer:
Frances M. Brillantine

Employment:

Education: M.S.L.S., Catholic University of America, 1992; B.A., George Mason University, 1990

Professional Activities:

Statement:

ILUG consistently offers a variety of valuable programs and opportunities to discuss issues unique to law libraries. I would welcome the opportunity to support ILUG by serving as Treasurer. Serving as Assistant Treasurer for the Law Librarians' Society of Washington DC in the past year has given me some experience in the duties required of Treasurer and I think I could serve well in that capacity.

Candidate for Treasurer:
Phyllis Post

Employment:

Education: M.S., Library Science, University of Illinois, 1983; B.A., Linguistics, Pennsylvania State University, 1978

Professional Activities:

Statement:

I value the ILUG for its members who have given generously of their time and experience, especially back in the late 90's when my library migrated to III. This group is a wonderful forum for discussing the needs that are peculiar to law libraries. I would be pleased to lend my support to ILUG by serving as its Treasurer. I have many years of experience working with library budgets. In addition I currently serve my church as Treasurer, so I understand the nature of this position very well. I appreciate the opportunity to run for this office and pledge myself to honest and faithful stewardship of the ILUG treasury.
